GGTU University, currently known as Govind Guru Tribal University, is in the Banswara district of Rajasthan. The first name of the university was Rajiv Gandhi Tribal University, which was changed to Govind Guru Tribal University in 2016. This college was established in 2012 to cater to the local students in the Banswara district of Rajasthan. In 2016, the name of this university was changed to Govind Guru Tribal University. However, in 2012, it was named after the 6th Prime Minister of India, Rajiv Gandhi. The jurisdiction of this university is spread in Dungarpur Banswara of Rajasthan state.
